Unified documents management system
VIDVIS – Unified documents management system is desingned for daily administration employees work with documents of the ministry of environment of the respublic of lithuania and subordinate institutions.
This document management system is used by employees of 20 institutions. The annual number of documents processed in the system is about 100,000. Each institution has its own document repository, its own system administrator, but all documents are stored in one main database. System has these modules:
• Working with outgoing documents (preparation of documents, commenting, forwarding, signing by electronic signature, registration of documents);
• Task management;
• Assignment of tasks;
• Company resource management;
• Contracts management;
• System administration;
The system is closely integrated with Microsoft Office products, is easily expandable and features flexible architecture and high productivity, fast document search. The system is compatible with the Republic of Lithuania Law on Documents and Archives and other legislation of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the preparation of documents. The system is based on Oracle products: Oracle WebCenter, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Database.
